Centrale für
Coorganisation GmbH is the service and competence centre for the
German consumer goods industry and its associated economic sectors.
CCG is a founding
member of the international
EAN organisation whose standards are today used in 129
countries. CCG commands statutory prerequisites enabling it to
operate as a rationalisation association and sponsors NDWK, the
Standardisation Committee for Data and Commercial Traffic within
the DIN (German Standardisation Institute).
Their norms regarding
the global EAN standard with the identification systems for
products, services, locations and logistic units are important
recommendations for the optimisation of business processes. With (EANCOM®)
and the additional WebEDI and XML standards, it has created the
prerequisites for the rationalisation of Electronic Data
Interchange (EDI). Amongst technical standards, the process
standards with a global demand within the ECR
strategies (Efficient Consumer Response) play an important
role. As the sponsor of the ECR Germany Initiative, CCG cooperates
with the organisations in Austria and Switzerland as ECR-D-A-CH as
well as with other regional and global initiatives. This way, the
offered services developed by CCG, especially the SINFOS
Global Portal for Article Master Data Alignment, obtains
additional dimensions worldwide; SINFOS is a main component of the
e-RIALTO-Initiative for border crossing Master Data Communication
which is sponsored by 12 EAN organisations.
